Welcome to 1860travels.com. By using our website and making purchases, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We offer tours, flights, visas, and related travel services through 1860travels.com and affiliated partner platforms.
- 1.1 By using this website ("the Site"), you agree to the terms stated here. If you disagree, please stop using the Site immediately.
- 1.2 You may print and retain a copy of these terms. They form a legal agreement between you and 1860 Travels. Any modifications require our written consent, and we may update them on the Site at any time.
- 1.3 Your use of any 1860 Travels-affiliated website binds you to these terms.
- 1.4 If you do not agree to all of these Terms & Conditions, please refrain from accessing or using the Site or any affiliated website.
- 1.5 We may update these Terms by posting changes online. Please check regularly — your continued use constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
- 1.6 Content on this Site (text, images, pricing, etc.) is for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use requires written permission from 1860 Travels.
- 1.7 Use the Site lawfully and without infringing upon the rights of others.
- 1.8 Use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes and legitimate bookings only. Do not engage in speculative, false, or fraudulent activities. Automated access requires prior written authorisation from 1860 Travels.
- 1.9 Goods or services purchased through partner operators are subject to their own terms. 1860 Travels accepts no liability for those transactions.
Material
- 2.1 Material submitted by visitors includes text, images, audio, video, and other content.
- 2.2 Material you send or post to the Site is considered non-proprietary and non-confidential. We have the right to use it, except where it constitutes personal data.
- 2.3 You must not submit material that contains harmful content such as viruses or malware; content that is discriminatory, defamatory, false, or illegal; or content for which you do not hold the necessary rights or consents.
- 2.4 We will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities in relation to any material that breaches our policies or applicable law.
Your Account
- 3.1 Keep your account credentials confidential. You accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- 3.2 Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are liable for any consequences arising from the provision of incorrect or misleading details.
Pricing — Inclusions & Exclusions
- 4.1 Prices on the website are per person unless stated otherwise.
- 4.2 Prices may change until booking confirmation is issued.
- 4.3 Specific inclusions for each product are stated on the relevant booking page.
- 4.4 Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
- 4.5 Senior pricing applies to customers aged 60 and over where advertised.
- 4.6 Students must present valid ID at the time of booking and carry it on the day of travel for any student-specific activity.
- 4.7 Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- 4.8 Prices exclude local taxes, charges, or fees unless expressly stated.
- 4.9 Prices exclude gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless stated otherwise.
- 4.10 Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
- 4.11 Revised pricing and related documents are governed by the Pricing Practices Guide.
Payment
- 5.1 We accept Visa and MasterCard for credit card payments.
- 5.2 We do not charge service fees for processing credit card payments. Note that your card issuer may apply their own charges.
- 5.3 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- 5.4 To protect you in the unlikely event of our insolvency, customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until the completion or cancellation of your booking.
- 5.5 The cardholder must be present when presenting the ticket or boarding confirmation.
Amendments & Cancellations
- 6.1 Amendments to tour bookings can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
- 6.2 Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise specified at the time of booking.
- 6.3 Tours and packages eligible for a full or partial refund will be clearly stated within the product details. Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure. Otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
- 6.4 For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include exchanging for a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or obtaining a full refund, subject to specific product conditions.
- 6.5 If a customer misses a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued. As a gesture of goodwill, a discounted rebooking rate may be offered for a future date.
Refunds & Compensation
- 7.1 If a venue cannot be visited during a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we may issue a partial refund for the admission value at our discretion.
- 7.2 No refund will be given if the air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle are not operational.
- 7.3 For Open Top Bus Tours, delays of more than one hour caused by weather or traffic are subject to the provider's own terms.
- 7.4 Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the completion of the tour.
- 7.5 Approved refunds will be processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
- 7.6 Third-party products where 1860 Travels acts as an official agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's terms.
- 7.7 Refunds and compensation for cancelled train services will follow the relevant train operator's conditions.
Complaints
If you have concerns or suggestions about our service, we want to hear from you.
We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and promptly. Where a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached internally, we will advise you of further escalation options.
E-Tickets
- 9.1 Customers who purchase tickets online will receive an e-ticket. Please print your e-ticket or save it to your device and present it to a 1860 Travels staff member at the boarding point.
- 9.2 You must also bring the credit card used to purchase the ticket as proof of identity.
- 9.3 Present your e-ticket at the boarding point, where it will be exchanged for a valid travel ticket.
- 9.4 1860 Travels reserves the right to refuse e-tickets presented without the corresponding payment card.
