This perfect and classic full day city tour consists of typical Shanghai garden, old and modern aspects of the city ,temple, and other highlights. You will have oppotunity to visit Yu Garden, Confucius Temple, Bund ,Pearl Center, enjoy Chinese style lunch, and stroll in Xintiandi & Former French Concession, visit Jade Buddha Temple, Silk Museum, People’s Square, Shanghai Museum within approx. 7.5-8 hours. Visiting ends at around 4:30pm, then start to transfer back to your original pick-up hotel. Yu Garden Yu Garden is a famous garden of classical style in the south of the Yangtze River. Initially built under the reign of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty and up to now it has a history of over 400 years. In the garden, you will enjoy the historic culture of Chinese architectures. Confucius Temple Confucian temple is a typical temple garden, which is the temple for us to worship Kongzi! It was finished in Yuan Dynasty (1291).And it used to be a school for educating the students in different period! Bund The first settlement for the foreigners in Shanghai! It gets the title of “World Exposition of Architectures”, here you will enjoy the magnificent combination of the old European style architectures and the modern skyscrapers. Pearl Center You will be invited to visit a pearl center where you will be given some useful information to distinguish the real pearls from the fake ones. Jade Buddha Temple Built in 1882, the temple is noted for two jade statues of Sakyamuni brought from Burma. It is famous at home and abroad with its jade Buddha Statues. Silk Museum Silk culture is such unique culture to China , you can learn how Chinese make silk product from silkworm, and appreciate graceful and exquisite silk artwork. Old French Concession Area It is an historical and cultural character of the city tourist attractions; it is unique Shikumen Shanghai-based urban construction, into a world-class restaurants, business, entertainment, culture, leisure walking Street Shanghai Museum ( closed on Mondays). The museum has the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times, which includes bronzeware, calligraphy, paintings, pottery, porcelain, jadeware, stone carvings, Jiaguwen imperial seals, ancient coins, silk embroidery, dyed fabrics, ivory sculptures, ethnic crafts, etc. Others On holidays, big crowds or closes on Mondays of Shanghai Museum, or sometimes Silk Museum, Confucious Temple close, the guide may modify the itinerary upon actual condition . Yu Garden is closed on Mondays and will be placed by City God Temple, also for the Shanghai Museum on holidays, big crowds or closed on Mondys, it will be replaced by Xintiandi Wulixiang In House Museum. Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
- Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
- The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
- Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
- Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
- Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
- Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
- Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
- For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
- If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
- If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
- No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
- Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
- Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
- Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
