Once in Jordan, you will drive past the stunning Wadi Rum deserted landscape and, thanks to your knowledgeable English-speaking guide, you will enjoy a guided tour throughout the stunning UNESCO park too. You will then enter Petra through the Siq, a long and narrow passageway, filled with unique details including carvings and shrines. Once there, you will hear the history of the “lost city” of the Nabateans and visit ancient sites like the Treasury, the Obelisk Tomb, Jabal Madbach (the sacrificial palace), the Roman Theater and the Mountaintop Tombs. After two hours of guiding through these sites, you will enjoy some free time to explore Petra at your own pace. Later in the afternoon, it will be time to head back to the border and cross into Eilat, before returning to Jerusalem.
