Istanbul half-day top sites morning tour
Description
Take part in a morning guided tour and see the most famous sites in Istanbul. First, you'll head directly to Hagia Sophia, which is an ancient basilica built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century. You'll have a chance to admire the beautiful architecture of this historic site. You'll then move on to the second site which is the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, a building constructed in the 16th century and known as Blue Mosque due to its fascinating interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Next, you'll visit the Hippodrome, a monument that was originally a circus and was the sporting and social center of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire. Last but not least, you'll move on to the Grand Bazaar, one of the best markets in the world in terms of age and dimension, with over 4,000 shops which attract approximately 300,000 visitors daily. The perfect stop to purchase memorable souvenirs to bring home to your family and friends.
