Discover Dallas - Private Walking Tour
Description
The saying goes that 'everything is bigger in Texas', and so it holds true for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. However, on your private tour of Dallas, you will see how self-contained and walkable it is. On your private walking tour, you will: - Meet your guide at the John Neely Bryan cabin, the person and place to whom the city traces its roots - Visit Dealey Plaza and the Kennedy Memorial - Walk to the Dallas West End Historic District to enjoy the charm of tree-lined streets, sidewalk cafes, and an astounding number of cowboy boot shops per capita - Pop up to Klyde Warren Park - an urban green space on top of a freeway and see the innovative example of how Dallas has rethought parks - Pass by the Belo Mansion, where you will get to hear the tales and terrors of Bonny & Clyde - Wander the Dallas Arts District - with several notable museums including the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, and the Crow Collection of Asian Art - Finish your tour with a light bite of food and drink at a place recommended by your local guide, who will give you insights on the best dining experiences in Dallas, especially for Tex-Mex and Texas Barbecue
