Description

Visit some of the most famous historical landmarks of China with this guided tour. You will be picked up from your hotel and reach the Temple of Heaven. There, you will have the chance to catch a glimpse of local senior citizens practicing Tai Chi, dancing, or doing calligraphy.

Then, you will reach Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square in the world. There, you will learn about the dramatic historical moments that took place in the square and walk through Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, and Tiananmen Gate.

You will then continue towards the Forbidden City, the residence of the Ming and Qing Emperors for more than 500 years. After your visit, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a Peking Roast Duck restaurant.

After your meal, you will visit the Summer Palace, the largest Imperial Garden in China. On the way back to your hotel, you will stop at a bridge to the west of the Water Cube, where you will enjoy the views of the main buildings of the Olympic Park.
