Manchester has twice grabbed the music world by the scruff of the neck and shaken it up like never before. It’s a city steeped in rock ‘n’roll and nowhere wears this badge of pride better than the Hard Rock Cafe at the Printworks. This is the city that blasted a new dawn with punk in the Seventies and another with Manchester in the Eighties. The Hard Rock Cafe Manchester has memorabilia from The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis and Elvis Presley along with more contemporary items including stage costumes worn by Natasha Bedingfield and Arctic Monkeys. Like all great revolutions, the Hard Rock Cafe wasn’t meant to succeed. It was 1971 and as the Swinging Sixties had given way to the Super Seventies, fashions and tastes were changing. Two hungry young Americans were in London and couldn’t find a decent place to eat a decent burger… so they opened up a joint. Their landlord didn’t think it would last and gave them just a six-month lease. Four decades later, there almost 200 Hard Rock Cafes in more than 50 countries worldwide. The first T-shirt hit the streets in ‘74 and the first piece of memorabilia came, fittingly, by chance in ‘79 when Eric Clapton asked to hang his Lead II Fender guitar over his favourite bar stool and mark as his spot. Today, the rock 'n' roll collection has more than 74,000 pieces and is the largest of its kind. By 1982, the Hard Rock Cafe had gone global and the rest, as they say, is history (that’s still being written)! Grilled Chicken Sandwich Grilled chicken with melted Monterey Jack cheese, smoked bacon, leaf lettuce and vine-ripened tomato, served on a toasted fresh bun with honey mustard sauce and seasoned fries on the side. Twisted Mac, Chicken & Cheese Grilled chicken breast, sliced and served on cavatappi pasta tossed in a four-cheese sauce blend. Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad Grilled chicken with fresh romaine tossed in a classic tossed in a classic Caesar dressing, topped with parmesan crisps, croutons and shaved parmesan cheese. Tupelo Chicken Tenders Crispy chicken tenders served with seasoned fries, honey mustard and our house-made barbecue sauce. DESSERT Brownie Warm chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and fresh whipped cream. From 1/1/2021 - Slow-cooked ½ rack of Baby Back Ribs and ½ grilled BBQ chicken served with our house-made barbecue sauce and seasoned fries on the side. Grilled Salmon Seasoned and grilled then topped with our chipotle aioli and served with grilled lemon, fresh vegetables and seasoned fries. Twisted Mac, Chicken & Cheese Grilled chicken breast, sliced and served on cavatappi pasta tossed in a four-cheese sauce blend. Steak Salad Grilled steak on a bed of fresh mixed greens tossed in a blue cheese vinaigrette, with pickled red onions, red peppers and Roma tomatoes, finished with crispy shoestring onions and blue cheese crumbles. Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
- Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
- The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
- Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
- Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
- Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
- Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
- Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
- For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
- If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
- If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
- No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
- Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
- Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
- Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
