What to expect
If you thought Varadero was the business, wait till you sail by catamaran to Cayo Blanco. This luxury cruise will take you to a secluded key of white sands and clear waters, where you can unwind on the beach while nursing a rum cocktail or snorkel among the reefs.

Sailing from Varadero, you've an hour or so to chill on deck or lounge on the nets before stopping at a platform in the middle of the sea where you can dive into the water.

Next is Cayo Blanco itself, where we'll drop anchor off the beach for a lunch of fresh prawns, chicken, rice, and – as an option – lobster. You'll then have free time to swim and snorkel in the coral, sunbathe on the talcum powder-like sands, or explore the island, which is just 3km long and 800 metres wide.
