Craft and Savor with Traditional Japanese Arts in Hibiki
Description
Embark on an immersive journey into the heart of Japan's rich traditions. You will have the chance to connect deeply with the country’s heritage. One of the unique experiences you can enjoy is crafting your own miniature Karesansui, a traditional Japanese garden often found in temples. As you create your garden, you’ll also participate in a Matcha tea ceremony where you’ll prepare and savour your own Matcha, complemented by seasonal Japanese sweets. The experience includes a photo opportunity with traditional Japanese swords and attire, and you’ll even take home a Karesansui kit as a keepsake. Alternatively, you can explore the art of kinpun makie, or gold powder lacquer art. Here, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind mini coaster using this intricate technique. Alongside this, you’ll again partake in a Matcha tea ceremony, pose with Japanese swords and traditional clothing, and receive both your handmade gold powder makie coaster and a display stand for showcasing your creation. For a peaceful and introspective experience, Hibiki also offers a standalone Tea Ceremony Experience. In this serene setting, you’ll prepare and serve traditional tea, immersing yourself in the tranquility of Japanese culture.
