Day 1 Buenos Aires. D Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we make a panoramic tour of the city, starting in Plaza de Mayo and then towards the neighborhood of La Boca, finishing in Palermo and Recoleta, where its famous cemetery is located. In the evening, we attend a dinner show to enjoy the magnetism of tango. Day 2 Buenos Aires. B Day at leisure to enjoy the city. According to your preferences, we suggest having a look at the options we have for you. Day 3 Buenos Aires / Puerto Madryn. B Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Trelew. Arrival and transfer to Puerto Madryn. Once there, afternoon at leisure to explore this maritime city. Day 4 Puerto Madryn. B Full day visit to Valdés Peninsula, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its geography, flora and fauna, characteristics that make it a nature’s paradise. This tour stands out for the variety and quality of the experiences it offers. We start at Estancia San Lorenzo to trek through the penguin colony, where more than 6,600 Magellanic penguins live during the breeding season. After enjoying lunch (not included), we will visit Punta Norte, the most likely site for coastal whale and elephant seal sightings, and Puerto Pirámides, where whale watching can be done from September to early December. Day 5 Puerto Madryn / Ushuaia. B Morning at leisure. At due time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Ushuaia. Arrival, reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Day 6 Ushuaia. B Departure from the city to Tierra del Fuego National Park to visit Ensenada Bay, Lapataia Bay, where National Route 3 ends, in addition to Lake Acigami (former Lake Roca), which is featured by its changed-by-weather water’s colour. In the afternoon, we sail the Beagle Channel to admire the Sea lions Island, Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and Ushuaia´s Bay from the water. Day 7 Ushuaia / El Calafate. B At due time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to El Calafate. Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel. Day 8 El Calafate. B Visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier, located in the Los Glaciares National Park and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The glacier is an impressive river of ice with an area of 257 square kilometers, and the height of the front wall ranges between 50 and 60 meters above the lake level. During the excursion, a walk along the walkways in front of the glacier allows you to admire this marvel of nature from different perspectives. Free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Day 9 El Calafate. B Day at leisure. Ideal to make a boat trip through the Lake Argentino or to enjoy activities that will allow you to explore unique landscapes. Day 10 El Calafate / Buenos Aires. B Morning at leisure to explore El Calafate and at due time, transfer to the airport to return to Buenos Aires. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Day 11 Buenos Aires. B At due time, transfer to the airport. Operational note: Day 4: From December to March, the excursion to San Lorenzo does not have a stop in Puerto Pirámides. From April to early September it is replaced by Península Valdés Sur visiting Puerto Pirámides, Punta Cantor and Caleta Valdés. To keep in mind: • Program available as fixed departure. Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
- Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
- The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
- Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
- Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
- Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
- Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
- Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
- For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
- If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
- If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
- No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
- Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
- Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
- Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
