Operational note: Day 9: The trail from Del Desierto Lake to El Calafate takes 5 hours; we suggest a flight after 5 PM. Day 1 El Calafate Arrival and reception at the airport. If you have time, do not miss the visit to the Glaciarium, one of the few glaciological interpretation centers in the world. Day 2 El Calafate. B Today we visit the Perito Moreno Glacier, inside Los Glaciares National Park, but from a different perspective, getting closer to the ice. To do this we make a navigation that allows us to cross the Brazo Rico and disembark on the opposite coast, from where we begin a walk to the south wall of the Glacier. Once next to the ice it will be time to enjoy its varied blues, whites and whimsical shapes. At the end we enjoy the walkways and then return to El Calafate. Day 3 El Calafate / El Chaltén. B L D In the morning, departure towards El Chalten, through the mythical Route 40. Once we reached the village we continued for 27 kms to the Glacier Refuge, a private nature reserve in the heart of the Río de las Vueltas Valley. A conservation project with thousands of hectares dedicated to science and nature tourism. Day 4 & 5 El Chaltén. B L D Upon arrival a host will greet you and then through a chat we will plan the next days of your stay. Sendero Rio de las Vueltas: Enjoy the meandering river trail with 360 degree views to enjoy the best known landscapes of the area. Milodon Lagoon: A trail that runs 6 km to reach the Milodon Lagoon where you can appreciate a wide valley flanked by hills and glaciers. Cagliero East Glacier - Laguna Rosa: A hike through a lenga forest to reach the Arroyo del Puesto and Laguna Rosa that will allow us to admire a breathtaking view of the glacier. Day 6 El Chaltén / Aguas Arriba Lodge. B L D In the morning, departure to the southern tip of Lago del Desierto. Our final destination will be Aguas Arriba Lodge, a privileged site with incredible views of the north face of Fitz Roy and the Vespignani Glacier. There we will receive our luggage while we start a 3 hour hike to the lodge. Once we arrive we replenish our strength with a Patagonian lunch. Day 7 & 8 Aguas Arriba Lodge. B L D Days dedicated to enjoy the activities of the lodge, which are: Punta Norte & Hito Fronterizo: After walking 3 hours, it is possible to reach Punta Norte. Once at the police checkpoint, we are able to arrive at Larga Lagoon and the Chilean Border. Fitz Roy Viewpoints: This is the area surrounding the lodge; there are more or less long distances with great diversity and contrasts. Suspension Glaciers: only on days when the lake tide is calm, it is possible to cruise the west shore of Del Desierto Lake. You can hike along the shore of the lake. Fly fishing: With previous reservation and extra cost. Day 9 El Chaltén / El Calafate. B Departure from the lodge to El Chalten to continue the trip to El Calafate. Notes: Activities are provided with Spanish and English-speaking guides. Day 2: Blue Safari is a service with restrictions. Due to the characteristics of the excursion and the terrain, and with the sole objective of preserving people's health, it is only suitable for: People aged 6 to 70 years, without mobility difficulties, or cardiac problems or other conditions that may affect their health during the walk. Day 3 to 9: Lodge activities are shared with other guests. Day 4 & 5: In case of wanting to do a trek to Laguna de los Tres or Rio Eléctrico, the transfer is included. Private services: Entry transfers with guide. Exit transfer without guide. Transfers from Glaciers Refuge to Lake del Desierto and from Lake del Desierto to El Chalten, private with driver only. Regular services: Entry transfer in El Calafate with guide. Transfers to and from El Chalten, regular bus services. Regular transfer from El Chalten terminal to Glaciers Refuge at a pre-established time, 1:30 PM. Transfer from Glaciers Refuge to the Lake del Desierto area is on a regular basis without a guide, at a pre-established time. Transfer from Lake del Desierto to El Chalten, private without guide. Glaciers Refuge Includes: • Accommodation with full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beverages not included). • Guided trekking activities, coordinated with guests according to daily availability. • Transfers from Chalten Terminal and vice versa at pre-established times. Aguas Arriba: Includes: • Accommodation with full board and non-alcoholic drinks during meals. Meals to enjoy during the transfer check-out. Meals, picnics, on full-day trek lunches. Guided trekking activities, coordinated with guests according to daily availability. • Guided trekking activities, such as Punta Sur or Norte, Fitz Roy Viewpoints, among others. • Lake entry and exit transfers at pre-set times when booking from Punta Sur Lake del Desierto (15 minutes of navigation bordering the eastern shore of the Lake).

Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
- Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
- The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
- Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
- Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
- Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
- Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
- Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
- For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
- If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
- If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
- No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
- Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
- Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
- Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
