SEASON: NOVEMBER - MARCH Operational notes: Day 6 & 7: The order of the activities may vary due to weather conditions. In case the navigation to Penguin Island can be done, it will be replaced by the visit to Cabo Blanco. Day 6: The boat trip is subject to climatic conditions. Day 1 Trelew / Puerto Madryn Arrival and reception at the airport; transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Day 2 Puerto Madryn. B L We head towards the Valdés Peninsula, declared a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO, to visit Estancia San Lorenzo, whose penguin colony is the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in the continent. At the end, we visit Punta Norte where we have the chance to see elephant seals, and Puerto Pirámides where the southern right whale watching takes place during the months of September to early December. Travelled distance: 316 km (196 miles) Day 3 Puerto Madryn/ La Providencia. B L D In the morning we start our trip to the Pinguinera de Punta Ninfas to explore one of the most pristine and unspoiled areas of the destination. On the way back, we stay at La Providencia, an estancia that preserves the values of its original founders, but in search of sustainability and care for the environment. Travelled distance: 117 km (72 miles) Day 4 La Providencia. B L D Free day at the Estancia to enjoy the beach, the bicycles and its multi-varietal olive grove with extra virgin olive oil produced at the Estancia. Day 5 La Providencia / Comodoro Rivadavia. B L In the morning, departure to Comodoro Rivadavia. On the way we visit the Cabo Dos Bahías Penguin colony and a huge colony of sea lions of 1 and 2 hairs. After lunch (box lunch), we continue to Comodoro Rivadavia. Travelled distance: 453 km (281 miles) Day 6 Comodoro Rivadavia / Puerto Deseado. B In the morning, we leave for Puerto Deseado, a place with a historical, cultural and natural wealth that will surprise us. Arrival and lodging. Travelled distance: 293 km (182 miles) Day 7 Puerto Deseado. B Today we sail the Deseado Estuary which allows us to visit places such as: the site of the wreck of the Corbeta Swift, sunk in 1770; Chaffers Island with Magellanic penguin sighting; and the Barranca de los Cormoranes, where you can observe the gray cormorant and the rock cormorant. During the navigation you will also visit Isla Larga, which has a small sea lion rookery, and Isla de los Pájaros where you will disembark to have the possibility of a close contact with Magellanic penguins. Day 8 Puerto Deseado. B Today we enjoy a navigation to meet the Yellow-plumed Penguin, also known as Jumping Woodpecker because of its particular way of moving. For this we embark to Penguin Island, declared a Marine Park for being one of the most biodiverse marine sites in Patagonia. Day 9 Puerto Deseado / Comodoro Rivadavia. B At the indicated time, return to Comodoro Rivadavia. Travelled distance: 293 km (182 miles). Notes: Day 1: Transfer from Trelew Airport to Rincon Chico is private on excursion. Days 2 & 3: Guided explorations within the property are half-day or full-day. The duration, difficulty level, distances to cover, possibility of wildlife sightings, viewing distances, and the number of animals to be observed depend, among other things, on the weather, tide schedule, and location of each colony and roosting site. At the end of each day, the guide will organize and inform guests about the explorations for the next day, and the choice will be based on the mentioned variables. Day 4: Transfer from Rincon Chico to Trelew and from Trelew to Bahía Bustamante is private with a Spanish-speaking driver-guide. Days 5 & 6: In Bahia Bustamante, one activity per day is included, with a bilingual guide, Spanish and English. Day 7: The quote includes private transfer from Bahia Bustamante/Comodoro Rivadavia Airport without a guide. In case of a flight from Trelew Airport, add the supplement. Rincon Chico: Includes: • Accommodation with full board. Guests arriving after lunchtime may request a complimentary box lunch for the day of check-out. • Activities: Guided wildlife tours by biologists and naturalists Hiking trails of various difficulties and lengths leading to excellent wildlife observation sites, interpretation of native flora, sighting of endemic birds. Tours of the establishment's livestock facilities Astronomical interpretation talks. Walks through the dune fields. Bahia Bustamante Lodge: Includes: • Accommodation with typical breakfast, lunch, 2-course menu, snack for activities, and fixed 3-course dinners. Beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are not included. • Activities: Boat trips for marine wildlife watching Trekking to the peninsula, Petrified Forest Penguin Island Cabo Aristazabal Cañadón de Piedra Historical tour and introduction to the seaweed industry Use of bicycles

Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
- Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
- The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
- Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
- Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
- Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
- Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
- Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
- For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
- If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
- If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
- No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
- Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
- Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
- Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
