Operational notes: Day 1: The Alta Montaña Museum is closed on Mondays. Due to the closure of Cabildo (TUE) and Mercado de San Miguel (SUN). The points of interest to visit will be modified Day 4: The wine museum closes on Mondays. A return flight after 9.00 PM is required. Day 1 Salta. Arrival and reception at the airport. In the afternoon, we go on a walk through the city and visit the MAAM (Museum of High Mountain Archeology). Max. Altitude: 1152 masl (3779 ft.) Day 2 Salta. B Today we explore Jujuy Province to get to know the Humahuaca Gorge, a Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. On our way, we make stops at typical towns such as Purmamarca, Tilcara, Uquía and Humahuaca. On the way back, we visit Maimará, to admire the Painter’s Palette. Travelled distance: 476 km (295 miles) Travel time: 12 hours Max. Altitude: 3012 masl (9881 ft.) Day 3 Salta / Cafayate. B Departure towards the Calchaquíes Valleys passing by Del Obispo Slope, Del Tin Tin Stretch, Los Cardones National Park and De Las Flechas Gorge, with its curious formations. Arrival at Cafayate. Travelled distance: 320 km (199 miles) Travel time: 11/12 hours Max. Altitude: 3348 masl (10984 ft.) Day 4 Cafayate / Salta. B We visit Cafayate and then, depart towards Salta, visiting De las Conchas Gorge, which is a result of wind and water erosion. Transfer to the airport. Travelled distance: 197 km (122 miles) Travel time: 8 hours Max. Altitude: 1683 masl (5521 ft.) Notes: Entrance transfer with guide. Departure transfer with driver only Day 1: Arrival on an earlier flight is required by 2PM. City tour on foot: The High Mountain Museum is closed on Mondays. Due to the closure of Cabildo (MAR) and San Miguel Market (DOM), the points of interest to be visited will be modified. Day 2: The Pucara de Tilcara is closed on Mondays. Day 3: On the Tour of the Calchaquí Valleys Luggage allowance no more than one piece of hand luggage per person of similar dimensions to cabin luggage. Day 4: The Wine Museum is closed on Mondays. Return on a later flight at 9PM is required. The additional night takes place in the city of Salta. Regular service: Transfer in with guide, transfer out without guide.

Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
- Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
- The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
- Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
- Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
- Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
- Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
- Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
- For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
- If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
- If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
- No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
- Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
- Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
- Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
