Description

Operational notes: Day 2: The regular Maipu Wine and Flavors tour is available on TUE/THU/ SAT. Day 3: The Uco Valley Experience operates in shared service on WED/SUN. Day 4: The Town Hall and the MAAM close on Mondays. San Miguel’s market closes on Sundays. Day 7: The Vine and Wine Museum closes on Mondays. Day 9: The food tour in San Telmo operates TUES-FRI AM- A flight after 8PM is required. Day 1 Mendoza. Arrival and reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Day 2 Mendoza. B L Mendoza has not only excellent wineries, but also an important olive oil industry, so in this tour we enjoy both looking for regional flavours. After visiting the olive oil factory and wineries of the area, we enjoy lunch in a well-known winery. Day 3 Mendoza. B L Today we explore Uco Valley wineries. This is an area where the climatic conditions, in which the vine is cultivated, provide unique characteristics to the wines. During the tour, we visit three emblematic wineries and we enjoy a delicious lunch paired with wines of the region. Day 4 Mendoza / Salta. B Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Salta. Arrival and reception. In the afternoon, the city of Salta awaits us to explore it by a walk through its streets, churches and colonial buildings. During the tour, we visit the MAAM (High Mountain Archaeology Museum). Day 5 Salta. B Today we go on a tour to the Province of Jujuy to get to know the Humahuaca Gorge, a Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. Day 6 Salta / Cafayate. B Departure to Cafayate visiting De Las Conchas Gorge, with its curious formations that are the consequences of wind and water erosion. Accommodation will be in a wine lodge, which will allow us to enjoy relaxing with the vineyards as company. Day 7 Cafayate / Buenos Aires. B L In the morning, we visit the Vine and Wine Museum. Afterwards, we learn how to make empanadas in a local winery and then have lunch and enjoy the torrontés wine. At the end, transfer to the airport, visiting the Cafayate Gorge. Arrival at Buenos Aires, reception and transfer. Day 8 Buenos Aires. B L D The day begins with a panoramic tour of the city. We start in Plaza de Mayo, scene of the most important events of the country since 1810, and then continue to the neighborhood of La Boca and finish in Palermo and Recoleta. In the evening, we enjoy a closed-door gastronomic experience that explores new ways of serving the typical meat cuts of the Argentinian Asado. Day 9 Buenos Aires. B Before your flight we suggest you to take a pizzeria tour to get to know an icon of Buenos Aires gastronomy or take a food tour in the San Telmo area where you will be able to taste the pure essence of Buenos Aires gastronomy. At indicated time, transfer to the airport. Notes Day 2 & 3: The order and selection of the wineries will depend on availability and operational issues. Tastings and lunch are included. Day 4: Walking tour of the city with the High Mountain Museum: The tour starts at the meeting point. Not available on Sundays due to the closure of the San Miguel Market, or on Mondays due to the closure of the High Mountain Museum. A flight arrival before 3 PM is required. Day 6: The Museum of Wine and Vine remains closed on Mondays. Day 7: In the morning, a tour of the wineries in Cafayate will be held, followed by lunch. Private Service Transfers for arrival and departure with a guide. Day 8: The transfer from the hotel to Fogón Experience is private without a guide. The experience is a shared service with other guests. Regular Service Arrival transfer with a guide and departure without a guide. Day 2: Wines and Flavors of Maipu operates on TUESDAY/THURSDAY & SATURDAY. Day 3: Uco Valley Experience operates on WEDNESDAY & SUNDAY. Day 7: The tour of wineries in Cafayate is a private service, except for the tasting. Day 9: The pizzeria tour is a private service.

Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
  • Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
  • The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
  • Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
  • Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
  • Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
  • Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
  • Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
  • For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
  • If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
  • If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
  • No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
  • Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
  • Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
  • We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
  • Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
