Day 1 Buenos Aires. D Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we make a panoramic tour of the city. We start in Plaza de Mayo, witness to the most important events of the country since 1810, to then continue to the neighbourhood of La Boca and finish in Palermo and Recoleta. In the evening, we attend a dinner show to appreciate the magnetism of tango. Day 2 Buenos Aires / Puerto Madryn. B Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Trelew. Arrival and transfer to Puerto Madryn. Once there, afternoon at leisure to explore this maritime city. Day 3 Puerto Madryn. B Visit to the Valdés Peninsula, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. because of its geography, flora and fauna, characteristics that make it a nature’s paradise. This tour stands out for the variety and quality of the experiences it offers. We start at Estancia San Lorenzo to trek through the penguin colony, where more than 6,600 Magellanic penguins live during the breeding season. After enjoying lunch (not included) we will visit Punta Norte, the most likely site for coastal whale and elephant seal sightings, and Puerto Pirámides, where whale watching can be done from September to early December. Day 4 Puerto Madryn / Ushuaia. B Morning at leisure. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Ushuaia. Arrival, reception and transfer to the selected hotel Day 5 Ushuaia. B Departure from the city to Tierra del Fuego National Park to visit Ensenada Bay, Lapataia Bay, where National Route 3 ends, in addition to Lake Acigami (former Lake Roca), which is featured by its changed-by-weather water's colour. In the afternoon, sail the Beagle Channel to admire the Sea Lions Island, Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and Ushuaia´s Bay from the water. Day 6 Ushuaia / El Calafate. B At due time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to El Calafate. Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel. Day 7 El Calafate. B Visit the Perito Moreno Glacier, located in Los Glaciares National Park and declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the tour, a walk along the walkways located in front of the glacier allows to admire it from different angles. The visit can be enhanced by a one-hour boat trip that helps to acquire a better dimension of the height of its peaks. Return to the hotel. Day 8 El Calafate / Buenos Aires. B Day at leisure until the time of the suggested flight. We suggest a boat trip through Lake Argentino to complete your experience. Day 9 Buenos Aires / Iguazú. B In the morning transfer to the local airport to board, the scheduled flight to Puerto Iguazu. Arrival and reception at the airport; transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon departure from the hotel to the Foz do Iguaçu National Park, to get a different view of the falls. Return to Puerto Iguazu. Day 10 Iguazú. B In the morning we will visit the argentinean side of the Iguazu Falls, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. We will visit the Devil’s Throat Balcony, upper and lower paths from where you can take the Great Adventure as an optional tour. Day 11 Iguazú / Salta. B Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Salta. Arrival and reception in the airport. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the beautiful city of Salta including a must, the MAAM (High Altitude Archaeology Museum), with a great archaeological asset because of the girls mummies found in the Llullaillaco Volcano. Max. Altitude: 1.152 MASL (3.779 ft.) Day 12 Salta. B Today we go on a tour to Jujuy province, to get to know the Humahuaca Gorge, Cultural and Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Total travelled distance: 476 km (296 miles) Time travelled 12 hours Max. Altitude: 3.012 MASL (9.882 ft.) Day 13 Salta / Cachi / Cafayate. B Departure from Salta through slopes and ravines to the Calchaquies Valleys. We will visit Cachi, Route 40, De las Flechas’s Gorge, to finally arrive at Cafayate Total travelled distance: 320 km (199 miles) Time travelled: 11/12 hours Max. Altitude: 3.348 MASL (10.984 ft.) Day 14 Cafayate / Salta / Buenos Aires. B In the morning we will take a brief tour of the town including a visit to a winery. After lunch (not included) departure towards Salta visiting the Quebrada de Cafayate (Cafayate´s Gorge) with its strange rock formations. Arrival at Salta and transfer to the airport. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Total travelled distance: 197 km (122 miles) Time travelled 8 hours Max. Altitude: 1.683 MASL (5.522 ft.) Day 15 Buenos Aires. B At due time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight. Operational notes: Day 3: From December to March, the excursion to San Lorenzo does not have a stop in Puerto Pirámides. From April to early September it is replaced by Península Valdés Sur visiting Puerto Pirámides, Punta Cantor and Caleta Valdés. Day 11: The Alta Montaña Museum is closed on Mondays. Due to the closure of Cabildo (TUE) and Mercado de San Miguel (SUN). The points of interest to visit will be modified Day 13: Pablo Díaz Museum and the Vine and Wine Museum close on Mondays. Day 14: A return flight after 9PM is required. To keep in mind: • This program is available as a fixed departure. Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
  • Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
  • The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
  • Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
  • Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
  • Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
  • Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
  • Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
  • For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
  • If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
  • If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
  • No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
  • Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
  • Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
  • We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
  • Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
