L Arrival and reception at Salta’s airport and transfer to hotel. After staying at the hotel, we invite you to enjoy a circuit to learn the secrets of Salta's gastronomy. We start with a visit to the San Miguel Market, where we acquire the raw materials and then meet the cook, who transmits the customs and anecdotes of the regional gastronomy while advising everyone in the kitchen. The end of the day is the shared enjoyment of the food prepared together. In the afternoon we visit the MAAM (Museum of High Mountain Archeology). Maximum altitude: 1152 MASL (3.779 ft.) Day 2 Salta / Purmamarca. B We leave towards the Quebrada de Humahuaca to Purmamarca, after a brief tour of the town, we move to Salinas Grandes, an ideal place to enjoy the sunset and a good glass of wine. Total travelled distance: 293 km (182 miles) Travel time: 4 hours Maximum altitude: 4170 MASL (13.681 ft.) Day 3 Purmamarca / Salta. B L Today we explore the Quebrada de Humahuaca, Natural and Cultural Heritage of Humanity, stopping in typical and colorful villages such as: Tilcara, Uquia and Humahuaca and stopping at a local winery to taste some of its emblematic wines. In the afternoon we return to Salta. Total travelled distance: 308 km (191 miles) Travel time: 10 hours Maximum altitude: 3012 MASL (9881 ft.) Day 4 Salta / Cachi / Colomé. B Departure for a tour around Calchaquíes Valleys. After reaching the Route 40, we take a detour towards Colomé, where one of the oldest wineries of Argentina is located 2.300 to 3.111 MASL (7.545 to 10.207 ft.). Travelled distance: 228 km (142 miles) Travel time: 6 hours Maximum altitude: 3348 MASL (10.984 ft.) Day 5 Colomé / Cafayate. B L During our stay, we enjoy a guided tour at the winery and James Turrel Museum, one of the world’s most renowned contemporary artists, who is mainly concerned with light and space. After enjoying a wine tasting and a lunch, we continue towards Cafayate, passing through De Las Flechas Gorge. Travelled distance: 131 km (81 miles) Travel time: 4 hours Maximum altitude: 2270 MASL (7.448 ft.) Day 6 Cafayate. B L The day begins with a brief tour of the Museum of the Vine and Wine and then we head to a winery on board the bicycles, after the effort, we get our reward. Maximum altitude: 1660 MASL (5.446 ft.) Day 7 Cafayate / Salta. B L Before returning to Salta, we visit a winery of the area where we enjoy lunch. Then, we explore Cafayate Gorge. Transfer to the airport. Travelled distance: 197 km (122 miles) Travel time: 8 hours Maximum altitude: 1683 MASL (5.521 ft.) Notes Private services throughout the entire trip. Visits to wineries are subject to availability and opening days. The guided tour inside the wineries is available in both Spanish and English. Day 1: The private gastronomic circuit does not operate on Sundays. Day 2: During the Full Day Humahuaca, the winery to visit will be Bodega Dupont, which operates from Monday to Saturday. If it is not possible to visit this winery, it will be replaced by Bodega Yacoraite. Day 5: The lunch on this day is replaced by the Dinner on Day 5. Day 6: If it is not possible to operate the Bike Tour service, it will be replaced by a visit and premium wine tasting at boutique wineries such as Yacochuya, Esteco, among others. Day 7: The wine tasting will take place at Bodegas Piatelli. The lunch will be provided in a picnic format. Estancia Colomé Includes: • Accommodation with half board (breakfast and dinner), a bottle of complimentary wine in the room, and a three-course dinner (includes two glasses of wine, one non-alcoholic beverage, and coffee or infusion per person at each service). • Scheduled activities within the property such as a visit to the James Turrell Museum and a wine tasting at the Winebar of the Winery. Piatelli Wine Resort Includes: • Accommodation with half board (breakfast and dinner), a welcome drink, wine and chocolate tasting. • Scheduled activities within the property: Access to the fitness center, water circuit at the spa, access to the Oasis (where the pool and hot tub are located), and bicycles to tour the vineyards.

Pricing, Inclusions & Exclusions
  • Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, and may change at any time until your booking confirmation is issued.
  • The Inclusions and Exclusions listed on this page are specific to this tour — anything not listed under Inclusions is excluded from the price.
  • Prices exclude local taxes, charges, gratuities, food and beverages, and transfers unless expressly stated otherwise. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Student and senior (60+) pricing requires valid ID at the time of booking and on the day of travel.
  • Group tariffs may be available for parties of 10 or more — contact us for a quote.
Amendments & Cancellations
  • Amendments to this booking can be made by contacting us at least 96 hours before the departure date.
  • Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week before departure, otherwise a 100% cancellation charge applies.
  • Theatre tickets, dining products, and overnight tours cannot be amended or cancelled unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
  • For health or pandemic-related cancellations, options may include a travel credit voucher, rebooking on flexible dates, or a full refund, subject to the specific product's conditions.
  • If you miss a coach tour through no fault of 1860 Travels, no refund will be issued; a discounted rebooking rate may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.
Refunds & Compensation
  • If a venue cannot be visited during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund of the admission value may be issued at our discretion.
  • No refund is given for non-operational air conditioning or washroom facilities on an assigned vehicle.
  • Refund requests cannot be accepted more than 30 days after the tour's completion.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 15–20 working days via the original payment method.
  • Third-party tours where 1860 Travels acts as an agent are non-refundable and subject to the supplier's own terms.
Payment
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
  • We accept Visa and MasterCard and charge no service fee, though your card issuer may apply its own charges.
  • Customer payments are held in a dedicated client money trust account until your booking is completed or cancelled.
